Need to Know: New provincial measures to fight Covid-19

NEED TO KNOW

The province has extended the mask mandate, along with a new alcohol curfew and schools moving to level 3.
This means any community with more than 5,000 people will have to wear a mask (and smaller neighbouring communities).
Alcohol sales now have a curfew of 10pm. Bars must close by 11.
Schools are reccomended to move to level 3, which means reduced in-class learning.

The Saskatchewan Health authority is scaling back their alerts for potential exposures at businesses.
Until now they have been issuing routine updates.
The SHA says "COVID-19 is everywhere in Saskatchewan".

The Saskatchewan Hockey Harvest Lottery is on now.
All proceeds support the WHL scholarship funds of each Sask WHL Team.
Each year, more than 375 WHL graduate players attend post-secondary institutions on full WHL Scholarships at over 80 different institutions across North America. In 2019-20, 403 graduate players accessed their WHL Scholarship. Since 1993, the WHL has awarded over 6,400 scholarships to graduate players representing an investment in excess of $28 million by WHL Club Ownership. The WHL is the leading supplier of scholarships in Western Canada and offers one of the most comprehensive scholarship in North America.
