Shoemaker Creates Size 75 Shoes For Social Distancing
This is one way to make sure people stay far away. A Romanian shoemaker has created a shoe that is an impressive size 75. Creator Grigore Lup tells Reuters that as social distancing measures have begun to ease across Europe, he’s noticed people are not practicing social distancing as they should be, and the idea for the shoe was born. He told Reuters, “If two people wearing these shoes were facing each other, there would be almost one-and-a-half meters (nearly 5 feet) between them.” He’s already received five orders for the shoes, which cost $115 per pair.
