Potential COVID-19 exposure at two businesses in Regina

Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public that individuals who tested COVID-19 positive were at the following businesses when likely infectious:

  • Meridian Hotel Construction Site – 3800 Harbour Landing Drive – Sept. 14-18 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (each day)
  • Superstore – Rochdale Blvd – Sept. 18 from 4 - 4:45 p.m.

As of yesterday, all passengers going through security at Regina and Saskatoon airports will have to go through temperature screening.

The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) will be checking the temperature of all passengers and as mandated by Transport Canada.

Passengers will not be allowed to proceed to the screening checkpoint if their temperature, after two separate tests, is at or above 38 degrees, says Transport Canada.

Laser Quest announced earlier this week that its Canadian operations are shutting down, including Regina’s location; but now laser tag will live on under a new owner as a Vancouver-based company, Planet Laser plans to reopen it this November.
