Greater Sudbury Police Make An Arrest in Val Caron
RELEASE FROM GREATER SUDBURY POLICE - 6:30
Police responded to the area of Fleming St ValCaron at approx. 630 PM in relation to a dispute. As a result
there is a heavy police presence in the area, and we are asking take alternate routes and avoid the area. For
residents in the immediate area, police are asking for them to shelter in place.
An update will be provided as soon as one is available.
We appreciate the publics assistance.
Police have successfully concluded the matter and 1 male is taken into custody without
incident. Thank you for your patience.

Sudbury Police Seize Thousands in Drugs in Aggressive Driving Incident
Sunday afternoon, police followed a vehicle being driven aggressively near Downtown Sudbury. A witness reported the suspect had driven over a lawn, striking a large manhole, before fleeing on foot. The vehicle was impounded and officers found a loaded handgun and drugs. The driver is still at large. -

15 Year-Old Charged After Driving An ATV Through Soccer Field & Nearly Striking A Child
Officers patrolled the area and located the ATV at a business on Centre Street. The driver of the ATV was identified and was subsequently arrested. A 15-year-old individual has been charged with Dangerous Operation contrary to section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code. -
