2 New COVID Cases Confirmed Over The Weekend In Sudbury
"There are seven active cases of COVID-19 in the Sudbury and Manitoulin Districts, all within the City of Greater Sudbury. The health unit has confirmed its most recent infections on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
Public health officials in Sudbury delared an outbreak at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary after a third student tested positive. The case previously announced on Saturday involves a student and the exposure linked to the school's cafeteria. The other involves a student Lo-Ellen Park Secondary and has prompted Rainbow District School Board to send two more classes home to isolate for two weeks.
A total of 126 positive cases have been confirmed in the Sudbury and Manitoulin Districts, 120 resolved with two COVID-related deaths. The most recent death happened on May 1. The majority of cases, 110, have been in Greater Sudbury, while five were in the Sudbury District and another five were in the Manitoulin District."
