Tuesday's Power Outage In Sudbury Caused By Squirrel

A power outage yesterday (Tuesday) affected about 500 customers on Second Ave, Bancroft, part of the Kingsway, Frobisher area/Falconbridge Rd., Moonlight, and part of Barrydowne.
Sudbury Hydro crews were able to quickly get power restored, and the cause...Was a squirrel.

Sudbury Police Seize Thousands in Drugs in Aggressive Driving Incident
Sunday afternoon, police followed a vehicle being driven aggressively near Downtown Sudbury. A witness reported the suspect had driven over a lawn, striking a large manhole, before fleeing on foot. The vehicle was impounded and officers found a loaded handgun and drugs. The driver is still at large. -

Officers patrolled the area and located the ATV at a business on Centre Street. The driver of the ATV was identified and was subsequently arrested. A 15-year-old individual has been charged with Dangerous Operation contrary to section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code. -
