Kingston reports four new COVID cases, 14 since Friday


Kingston reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, it's 14th new case since Friday.

A woman in her 30's, two young women under 19 and a young man under 19 are the latest to test positive, all of whom contracted the virus through close contact with another case.

Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington Public Health now reports 27 active cases as of Tuesday morning, with no patients in hospital.

Kingston's community status remains in the 'yellow zone,' a move the health unit made two weeks following a number of new cases.

There were 615 new cases in Ontario on Monday, the eighth straight day the province reported above 500 new cases.
