Upper Ottawa Valley OPP are continuing to look for a car that struck a pedestrian in Pembroke in late September.

A 66-year-old was struck along Mackay Street near Irving Street on the afternoon of Sept. 30 and police said a Honda Civic or Accord involved was last seen leaving the scene eastbound on Dunlop Street. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with police called "life-altering injuries."

Police made an appeal for information back in September but are once again looking for any information about the driver or the car, which police said would have drivers side damage and missing one of its roof racks, which was recovered at the scene.

Anyone with information about the incident or who has surveillance video in the area is asked to contact Upper Ottawa OPP at 613-732-3332 or Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or at www.valleytips.ca.
