Renfrew man charged with assault after report of man falling
A Renfrew man has been charged with assault after another man was sent to hospital with serious injuries.
Renfrew County OPP said officers were called to a Raglan Street South home in Renfrew around 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 27 after it was reported that an 18-year-old man had fallen down the stairs and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police said after an investigation into the incident, 21-year-old Logan O'Brien has been charged with aggravated assault and obstructing a peace officer, along with two counts failing to comply with a release order.
OPP said their investigation is ongoing and officers are looking for any surveillance camera footage in the area of 196 Raglan Street between Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 27 at 5 p.m.
