Seven active COVID-19 cases, no new infections in Renfrew County
Renfrew County reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and has seven cases active in the area.
All seven patients still infected with the virus are in self-isolation and none are in hospital.
Ontario reported 538 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and conducted nearly 40,000 tests, but is still dealing with a backlog of more than 80,000 tests.
Dr. Robert Cushman, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Renfrew County, asked for patience from residents on Thursday as testing demand continues to be high with delays in results.
