Three new cases of COVID-19 added in Kingston, 19 active cases
Three new cases of COVID-19 were added to Kingston's total on Thursday.
The three new cases along with two recoveries reported on Thursday mean 19 active cases of the virus in the area.
All three new cases are in males under the age of 19 with two of the cases in elementary or secondary school age-group that Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington Public Health said was "not a risk to school environment."
Public Health officials also Thursday asked anyone who gone to a house party on Johnson Street on Sept. 18 to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms after five cases have so far been linked to the gathering.
Ontario reported 538 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and conducted nearly 40,000 tests, but is still dealing with a backlog of more than 80,000 tests.
