Three new cases of COVID-19, seven active cases


Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Renfrew County on Tuesday. 

Two new cases were reported in the Renfrew-area and one in Pembroke, bringing the total to seven active cases in the area as of Wednesday morning. 

No patients are in hospital from the virus and all are in self-isolation. 

Two testing clinics are open in Renfrew County on Wednesday by appointment only at the Shady Nook Recreation Centre in Laurentian Valley from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as in Barry's Bay at the fire station on Billings Street from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. 

Ontario reported 548 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, the ninth straight day over 500 new cases with hotspots still in Toronto, Peel Region, Ottawa and York Region.

Quebec meantime seeing a record number of cases for a second straight day with over 1,300 new infections.
