Two new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Renfrew County
Two new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Renfrew County, including a new case in the second health care worker in less than a week.
The two new cases were confirmed by provincial data on Friday and Sunday, bringing the total active cases in the area to three and 33 total since the pandemic began.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit included one of the new cases in their Friday count, while provincial data confirmed the second on Sunday.
No one has hospitalized with the virus in the area as of Friday.
Renfrew County has reported 33 total cases since the pandemic began and one death, with 29 patients listed as fully recovered.
Ontario reported 112 new cases in total Sunday, the ninth time in the past ten days the number of new cases has been 100 or above, while the City of Ottawa reported 17.
