Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation Association Closures
As you are aware on March 11th, 2020 the World Health Organization listed COVID-19 (coronavirus) as a pandemic. The Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation Commission,in
consultation with the City of Armstrong, and the Township of Spallumcheen, are closing all recreational facilities to the public on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 in the City of Armstrong
foran undetermined amount of time. This is a public health related response to the ongoing healthand safety concerns posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and recommendations of the
Medical Health Officer of British Columbia who has declared COVID-19 a public health emergency. All Parks and Recreation facilities are now CLOSED including the following:
• 3351 Park Drive – Norval Ice Arena and meeting room,
• 3315 Pleasant Valley Road – Hassen Arena, fitness studio and Medical Loan Cupboard,
• 3120 and 3327 Pleasant Valley Road – Centennial Hall and Auditorium,
• These closures also include the following facilities located in the Armstrong
Spallumcheen IPE Grounds located at and around 3371 Pleasant Valley Road:
Agriplex indoor riding arena
Riding ring 1 and grandstand viewing area
Riding Ring 2 and seated area
Cattle Swine Complex.
We ask for your understanding and patience during this unprecedented time and as we work through the logistics of this closure. We will provide customers with important information
regarding their accounts and future bookings impacted by this closure within the next 5 business days. We will also post relevant information on our website at: www.asprd.com.
