IH Says Krazy Cherry Cherries Safe to Eat
Interior Health says cherries from the Oliver farm where workers have tested positive for COVID-19 are safe to eat.
A release says there is no evidence the virus is foodborne and products from Krazy Cherry Fruit Co. do not pose a health risk.
Washing fruits and vegetables before food consumption is, as always, recommended.
Krazy Cherry is permitted to continue to operate, pick, pack, and sell cherries.
