Joe Rich Fire Rescue Food Bank Drive
Residents of the Joe Rich area are encouraged to support the annual Joe Rich Fire Rescue Community food bank drive.
Sunday, November 22 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, members of Joe Rich Fire Rescue will be going door-to-door throughout the community collecting non-perishable food and cash donations for the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank.
In order to keep everyone safe from the possible transmission of coronavirus, this year’s food drive involves contactless pickup and will respect physical distancing. On the day of the event, residents are asked to leave their donation on their door step or at the end of their driveway.
On November 22, Joe Rich residents may also drop off donations at either Station 51 (11481 Highway 33 East) or Station 52 (6550 Goudie Road). Both facilities will have bins set up to accept contactless donations during the community food bank drive.
