Sometimes, celebrities are just like us … and sometimes they're NOT. On the extended Thanksgiving weekend, we got an extra serving of ordinary celeb celebrations and over-the-top bedazzled excess.

Hilary Duff, 32, reported that as she, fiancé Matthew Koma and Luca Cruz, 7, celebrated by dining on classic T-day fare, while her 13-month-old Banks Violet opted to snack on dirt. She captioned a selfie: "HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Banks just ate dirt."

Jennifer Aniston, meanwhile, held a Friendsgiving with Courteney Cox, Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel, Will Arnett, and her ex-husband Justin Theroux. Commenting on the epic selfie from the evening, Theroux, 48, wrote that he was "very VERY thankful for these friends and these nights."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wished their followers a Happy Thanksgiving amid their break from public life, writing simply: "Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours."

Kim Kardashian shared her thanks, and new pics of herself, husband Kanye West and their four kids. "So Thankful for my babies," she captioned te shots. Her sister Kourtney echoed her sentiment, writing on her own shots, "Overwhelmed with thankfulness, words cannot express."

Wendy Williams, Alec Baldwin, Jenna Dewan and Reese Witherspoon were also among the celebs to share thankful posts, a bracing and refreshing mix of gratitude and glam.
