6ix9ine has been sued for “child sexual assault, child sexual abuse and infliction of emotional distress” stemming from an incident when he was 18.

The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was charged in 2015 with three counts of using a child in a sexual performance. He and friend were seen in a video with a naked 13-year-old girl. 6ix9ine pleaded guilty to one count and was sentenced in 2018 to four years of probation.

In her lawsuit, the victim claims she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol when 6ix9ine and his friend made the sexually explicit videos.

A lawyer for the rapper told TMZ that his client intends to “vigorously” defend himself.

Last month, 6ix9ine seemed to downplay the incident in an interview with The New York Times.

“I was 18 at the time,” he said. “Am I this 40-year-old Jeffrey Epstein-type? I was at the wrong place at the wrong time … Listen, I went to this place, and these guys brought this underage girl. I’m filming it, uploading it for the masses to see," he recalled.

“I admit to all my wrongs, right? I pleaded guilty … and then I took responsibility for that.”

Earlier this year, charitable organization No Kids Hungry rejected a donation from 6ix9ine due to his past. "As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values," it explained in a statement at the time.
