The Francophone North-East School District will have to wait until next month to enter its plea relating to the death of a worker at one of its Bathurst schools.

The district was slated to enter a plea on Monday, however the case has been adjourned until February 10th.

It has been charged with failing to provide a fall protection system and and failing to establish a health and safety program.

58-year-old Sylvia St-Pierre, an electrician, died after falling from the roof of Cite de l'Amitie School.

If found guilty, the district could be fined up to $250,000.
