Day-long stolen vehicle investigation in Fredericton leads to three arrests
Three people have been arrested and face multiple charges following a day-long investigation in Fredericton that began with an intrusion alarm.
Fredericton Police were called to a Northside car dealership around 4:30 a.m. on Monday and discovered two vehicles had been stolen along with various sets of keys as the business had been broken into.
When responding to a single-vehicle accident on the Vanier Highway about three hours later, police say the vehicle had been stolen from the dealership and sustained significant damage.
Twenty-four-year-old Mallory Alexandra Bostick of Fredericton was arrested for possession of stolen property and obstruction and is due in court on Wednesday, where she's expected to face further charges.
Fredericton Police say information from the public helped locate the second stolen vehicle just outside the city around 6:30 p.m.
Two men, ages 33 and 34, were arrested at the scene with one released on a promise to appear in court and the other given an unconditional release.
