Fredericton Summer Artist in Residence program expands for 2020

The Summer Artist in Residence Program is returning to Odell Park for a second year and has expanded to include the Fredericton Botanic Garden.

A release states fourteen artists are set to spend up to two weeks "in residence" throughout the park and the garden creating new works and demonstrating their techniques.

The public is invited to interact with the artists to learn about their work while maintaining appropriate distancing guidelines.

The City says this year anyone with internet access can follow the artists on social media, view daily updates, and learn about the creative process and artist techniques, and even take in a lesson or have questions answered during live artist talks.
