HotSpot parking app now available at Fredericton airport

news-update

The Fredericton International Airport Authority (FIAA) says it has partnered with HotSpot to provide a contactless payment solution for long-term parking.

A release states the program allows use of the HotSpot app to pay for parking as an alternative to ticket-based parking.

Airport authority President and CEO Johanne Gallant says in the release, "[HotSpot] helps to further ensure the health of people who come to our airport for essential travel by further reducing the touchpoints within the airport."

The FIAA says the project launched in 2019 as part of the airport's ongoing commitment to improving services.

The HotSpot parking app can also be used as an alternative to cash to pay for parking in the City of Fredericton.
