The province's Education and Early Childhood Development critic is accusing the minister responsible of keeping New Brunswickers in the dark about back-to-class plans for this fall.

Though an outline of the plan was released last month, Chuck Chiasson says parents, teachers, and principals need details in order to prepare for the upcoming school year.

With the challenges that come with planning around future outbreaks of COVID-19, Chiasson is calling on the minister to present a detailed back-to-school plan with multiple scenarios.

Chiasson says that with a clearly defined plan A, B, and C, schools and parents would be able to better prepare for all eventualities.
