Okay, like… if you’re anything like me, you can’t even talk about ‘This Is Us’ without tearing up and wanting to cry the rest of your life away. It’s one of the most beautiful shows ever and you probably knew you were going to love it from the very first time you saw the previews and advertising for it. First of all… the fact that Milo Ventimiglia played Jess in ‘Gilmore Girls’ before all of this, means that we were already in love with Jack’s character, without question. Second: Mandy Moore always and forever will be a heartthrob for all of us ever since her ‘Walk To Remember’ days. Like, it’s the most nostalgic cast, and the most wholesome TV show touching down on literally every issue imaginable, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

COVID had its way of messing with a ton of things in this life, but a huge thing that it effected is movies and TV shows because they couldn’t safely have all of those people on set. When COVID hit we saw an abrupt end to a lot of our favorite movies and shows, especially effecting reality TV. Although we don’t know what to expect in the future, it seems like we can have some hope, because as movies actually start to return to playing IN THEATRES the way they used to… TV shows are making a comeback, too.

It has officially been announced that the long awaited fifth season of ‘This Is Us’ will return to our TV’s in November of this year. See? 2020 ain’t all bad, right? I know it’s a little strange how quickly and closely we grow to know and love characters, but if we’re getting technical we’ve had a 5 year relationship with the cast of ‘This is US’ so it makes sense why we’re so incredibly excited for the return.

Keep your eyes peeled for its premiere on CTV in November.
