Charcuterie YYC Is A Vegan Deli Now Open In Killarney

Vegans and non-meat lovers REJOICE… Especially if you’re living in South West Calgary.

The truth is, it’s 2019. We all either are a vegan, know a vegan, or dabble in the meatless items once in a while. It also totally helps to reduce your footprint if you’re not eating red meat all the time. If you’re anything like me, half of your week is generally meatless because not only is it better for the environment, but also it’s just easier! My man and I try and go meatless Monday through Thursday just because it’s simple enough to do, and makes you feel good!

It isn’t hard to get your hands on vegan “meats” and dairy free/vegan cheeses, especially if you’re shopping at stores like Sunterra, Urban Fare, and even Safeway, Co Op, IGA, and places of that nature. It is cool, though, when you can go to a one stop shop for ALL of it – where there is no chance of it even being near any other meats, especially if you are a hard core vegan (and they do exist, it’s intimidating).

If you are one of these people, or just a dabbler, your time is now. The first ever “vegan deli” in Southern Alberta is officially open and it’s right here in Calgary. In Killarney, to be exact. So if you’re a charcuterie queen/king, and you’re a vegan or have vegan friends, your life just got way easier. They sell vegan cheeses, chocolates, snacks, and everything in between.

You can find Charcuterie YYC at 4-3315 26th Avenue SW, Calgary.

Their hours are scarce as it stands, but I’m sure as their popularity advances, this will change.

They are open:

Wednesday 4pm – 8pm

Sunday 10am – 2-pm

Happy vegan-ing!
