Danaye's Daily Dose for November 10th, 2020
Several Alberta doctors are calling for a serious lockdown as COVID cases continue to surge. With 644 new cases yesterday, the province now has over 7000 active cases and doctors say we’re just a couple weeks away from our health care system potentially being overloaded. The doctors are pleading with the government to impose what their calling a circuit breaker- a two week lockdown to give hospitals a chance to catch up and have officials figure out measures that can better slow the virus. More here.
Some good COVID news yesterday- drug company Pfizer has announced they have a COVID vaccine that 90% effective at fighting the virus. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says that it’s a light at the end of the tunnel, but also pleads that Canadians don’t let their guard down because of the news. Canada has ordered 20 million doses of the vaccine and there's hopes that it will be rolled out in early 2021. More.

The Bachelorette is back tonight- sounds like we have to sit through one more dose of Claire and Dale…blah blah blah, we’re in love, blah blah blah. Chris Harrison did set the record straight in an interview this week, saying there are no hard feelings for Clare since she blew this season up and ended things early. He said he took issue with the fact that her head wasn't in it and that it didn't feel like she was being fair to the other guys, but since she cleared things up with them, he's happy for her. We get to see Tayshia's journey to find true love kick off TONIGHT and I am SOOOO excited!!!
And because the TV gods hate us, this is us is also back after two weeks and OMG what a cliff hanger last episode was! Hopefully we get some answers about Randall’s past tonight!
