Forever 21 Is Closing Its Doors In Canada
Where is your favorite place to buy a cute shirt on a budget? If your answer is Forever 21, I have some terrible news for you.
This is something you never would’ve thought possible a few years ago when it was quite literally THE place to shop for anything at all. Casual outfits, pajamas, and even evening wear. Their endless supply of adorable accessories is also something that must be mentioned. If you’re anything like me, you could go into your closet right now and pull out at least three staple items from there that you have no intention of getting rid of any time soon. You’d better hang onto them now that we’re saying goodbye, maybe they’ll be worth something one of these days.
The end of an era! https://t.co/NgHjEmjXtN— Teen Vogue (@TeenVogue) September 30, 2019
It sounds like they are shutting down all 44 of their retail stores across Canada. The one in Calgary you’re likely used to shopping at is located in Cross Iron Mills. This is a sad day. The good news, though, is that if you plan on traveling to the United States any time soon, they are keeping those locations open… for now. As you’re probably aware, there is a MASSIVE Forever 21 in Times Square in New York City, and we can be very thankful that they are not closing their doors just yet.
The positive part of a sad situation, though? LIQUIDATION. The retail locations will be closing their doors some time before the end of the year – which means you’re going to look s’cute this holiday season and it’ll barely cost you a penny. Even their sales online lately have been out of this world. You can check out the selection of clothing and accessories on their website.
This might just be the sad truth that you really can’t stay 21 forever… but we can try.
