Now You Can Get Your Birth Control Prescription Without A Doctor’s Appointment
Does hearing this make you literally want to scream HALLELUJAH?!
Nothing like a worldwide pandemic to make you want to be literally anywhere but a hospital, or doctor’s office, or clinic of any kind… right? There are certain things, though, that require you to make trips to those kinds of places or else the things you need are completely inaccessible. This goes for any kind of prescription, including birth control. This can totally be completely inconvenient even when you don’t feel threatened by going to the doctor’s office.
I’d put money on the fact that some people went without prescriptions and probably stopped taking birth control all together for the sole reason of not wanting to go to those kinds of places while the social climate is what it is right now. I’m not on the pill anymore, but I do remember the inconvenience at the end of the 3rd box when I’d have to go all the way back to my doctor just to get a piece of paper on the other side of the city. I know a lot of people have switched to the IUD, which doesn’t require a prescription, but for those of us still kicking it old school… this is totally a step in a good direction.
So, apparently the pharmacists at Rexall have been trained accordingly and are totally able to give you the prescription you need, without you needing to go all the way to the doctor for that piece of paper I mentioned before. If you do this now, you know how convenient this is for us. If you don’t, I’m telling you… the struggle is seriously real. Thank you Rexall, for making our lives easier.
