This TV Show Is Paying Canadians $400 to Tell Their Tinder Horror Stories

Why isn’t this already a show?! This is GENIUS.

Everyone has been on a bad date her or there. It’s like a rite of passage into adulthood. At least that’s what I tell myself after all of my weird dating experiences because it definitely helps me sleep at night. It’s nice to know, though, that enough people have had such weird dating experiences that it’s enough to have an entire show written around that premise.

It’s a CBC show that is looking for Canadians and Americans alike to sit down on camera and explain their crappy dating experiences, and specific dates that went completely wrong, for a pretty decent sum of cash. I mean, I think I’d always say yes to $400 just for telling a story, wouldn’t you?

I would be more excited to watch this show than I would be to be on it. Imagine just a bunch of young people from all over north America sharing their horrific dating stories. What could possibly be more entertaining than that? Although I feel it may make us want to stray away from dating apps for a little while depending on how hard the stories are to listen to… because if you’re anything like me, you know that dating can be super tough.

If you have a date that you feel would be bad enough to make it onto the television, same sister (or brother). You and I have that in common… but at least now our terrible dating lives can make us some moula.
