Remembrance Day 2020 in Edmonton

This year, Remembrance Day is happening a little differently in Edmonton. 

Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions, there are only going to be a small amount of in-person services in Edmonton (most are encouraging people to observe and stream from home due to COVID), along with a few online services you can observe.

 

In-Person 

Loyal Edmonton Regiment Military Museum

The museum is going to be open from 10-2, with a service and moment of silence happening at 11am. 

Where: 10440 108th Avenue, Edmonton

 

Edmonton Jewish Cemetery

There will be a ceremony, people are asked to show up at 10:30am, and they will begin at 11am. Everyone is welcome to come and pay their respectsn just make sure to wear a mask and physically distance.

Beverly Memorial Cenotaph 100th Remembrance Day Service

This will be the 100th year that Remembrance Day will be observed at the Beverly Memorial Cenotaph, and you can participate in it by streaming on Facebook. There will also be a Fly By from the Royal Canadian Air Force! Click HERE for a link. @ 10:30am

 

National Military Cemetery Remembrance Day Service (Ottawa)
