Watch: Eerie Video of an Empty Las Vegas Strip
On average the city of Las Vegas will see 41 million visitors walk its streets every year. The strip itself averages 17,700 people an HOUR. To say the least, Las Vegas doesn’t have a “quiet time” the city truly never sleeps.
That saying would have remained true until the recent actions taken against the COVID-19 pandemic. Travelling tourists have taken a hiatus from major hot spots like Vegas; all non-essential travel has come to a halt. People are at home self-isolating, not entertaining the notion of potential spread of the coronavirus, it’s an unfortunate reality but the responsible one.
In a day to day quarantine, things that were once normal are not, AKA Sin City goes lights out.
