Becoming cloudy this morning then snow changing to rain this afternoon. Fog patches developing this afternoon. Snowfall amount 2 cm. Rainfall amount 5 to 10 mm. Wind becoming southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 this morning then increasing to 60 gusting to 90 late this afternoon. High plus 4. Wind chill minus 19 this morning. UV index 1 or low.


Rain ending late this evening then cloudy with 30 percent chance of showers or drizzle. Fog patches. Amount 10 mm. Wind southeast 60 km/h gusting to 90 becoming southwest 20 gusting to 40 this evening. Temperature rising to 7 by morning.

CSAP early dismissal for école Rose-des-Vents and the Centre Scolaire de la Rive-Sud. 3 hours earlier dismissal. 12 noon.

South Shore Regional Centre for Education schools - Due to impending weather, school will be dismissed three hours early at 12 p.m. (Jan. 17)

Annapolis Valley Regional Schools - Due to impending weather, school will be dismissed three hours early at 12 p.m. (Jan. 17)
