How long do I have to wait before I can enter one of your contests again?
There is no wait time required to enter.
The eligibility rules and specific details for 101.3 VIRGIN Radio promotions and contests may vary. So please refer to the official contest rules posted online at 1013VIRGINRadio.ca for any particular contest 101.3 VIRGIN Radio is running.
When and where can I pick up my prize?
If you have won a physical prize (if you are unsure if a prize you've won is physical or digital (ie. an e-gift card, or digital tickets), please check in with your Virgin Radio contact who's been in touch with you about your prize), you can pick it up at the following times each week at the station* (2900 Agricola Street, Halifax, NS, B3K 6A7):
- Wednesdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm
- Fridays: 9:00am - 1:00pm
*Unless stated otherwise by a Virgin Radio representative that you should pickup your prize at another location (ie. event venue for tickets, etc.)
Please contact our Promotions Coordinator, Becky Grant at email@example.com, prior to picking up your prize to ensure it is ready at the station for you.
How long do I have to pick up my prize?
You have 30 days from the day you won to collect your prize unless explicitily stated in the contest rules that your prize must be taken before that timeframe, ie concert tickets to a concert that takes place before the 30 day waiting period.

How do I listen to 101.3 VIRGIN Radio over the internet?
To listen to 101.3 VIRGIN Radio on-line, click on "listen now" at the very top of every page. A new window will open and the live stream should start to play.

How much does it cost to send a text message to VIRGIN Radio?
Text messages sent are invoiced the standard rate by your wireless carrier directly on your phone bill. Basically, it's the same as texting a friend!
What is text message or SMS?
SMS or text message is an alphanumeric message that you can send or receive on your cellular phone. Text messaging is a fast and efficient way to inform someone without disturbing her/him. On average, Canadians send 100 Million SMS / day.
What is a shortcode?
It is a 5-6 digit number used by companies instead of the regular 10 digits number. They are easier to remember, and works with all wireless carriers. To send a message to 101.3 VIRGIN Radio, you have to use the short code 101101 as destination telephone number.
Will the DJ's see my messages?
The Dj will see all the messages on their computer in the studio. They will certainly read your message, and may answer by text message, or even read it live on the air!
How often can I send a text message?
For regular chat, there is a maximum number of 25 messages per phone number per day. Contests’ text entries are capped at a maximum of 25/day.
