Tampon Tuesday

Join us on Facebook Live on September 15th for our Virtual Tampon Tuesday.

The amazing Rae Kelly and wonderful Sarah Christie will discuss all things menstrual health and the importance of Tampon Tuesday. Stop by, join in the conversation and leave a comment for your chance to win some awesome prizes! We'll even have guest appearances by our favourite midday host, Laura Geddes and a representative from The Food Book of Waterloo Region!

Tampon Tuesday is a unique way to help those in need and 105.3 Virgin Radio is inviting our listeners to help us donate!

Menstrual Hygiene Products continue to be one of the most requested yet least donated items at Food Banks. Last year we collected just under 55,000 products and we are hoping to have this number grow in 2020.

Between September 1st and September 12th we encourage you to stop by your local Shoppers Drug Marts in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge to drop off and donate menstrual products. Can't stop by a location? That's okay we understand - we are also accepting money donations via The Food Bank of Waterloo Region - click here to donate today.
