P!nk Paused Her Sydney Show When A Fan Went Into Labour

Forget spicy food, accupuncture or castor oil, it appears the best way to induce labour is to simply attend a P!nk concert.

After one woman went into labour while attending one of the pop star's shows at Fenway Park in Boston last year, another actually forced P!nk to press pause on her concert in Sydney, Australia after the woman went into labour down in the pit.

P!nk had some fun with the moment as paramedics escorted the woman out from the crowd, asking, “Is it Alecia or Alex being born?” (P!nk's real name is Alecia Moore.) Adding, “I feel like we shouldn’t be looking. Everyone give her her privacy!”

P!nk then continued, wishing the best to the new-mom-to-be. "That’s exciting! I don’t even know what to say," she called out from the stage. "But we have to sing now. Good luck! It’s gonna be great! You’re gonna do great.”

As for the song that induced labour? P!nk pondered that for a second, saying, “Wow, ‘Our Song,’ that was the one that did it? Wouldn’t have called that one! I thought it would’ve been ‘Get The Party Started’ or ‘Never Not Gonna Dance Again.'”
