Pussycat Dolls Announce Reunion Tour

The Pussycat Dolls – minus one – have reunited for a 2020 tour.

“The stars have aligned and the Dolls are getting back together,” Nicole Scherzinger said Thursday on a British radio show.

Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt are scheduled to perform nine concerts in Ireland and the UK beginning April 5.

The only original member not participating is Melody Thornton.

The Pussycat Dolls released their debut album PCD in 2005 and made a splash with hit singles “Don’t Cha” and “Stickwitu.” They followed with Doll Domination in 2008.

There were two headlining tours but neither included North America. (They opened for The Black Eyed Peas on a U.S. tour in 2006; for Christina Aguilera in the U.S. and Canada in 2007; and for Britney Spears in the U.S. and Canada 2009.)

In early February 2010, Roberts, Sutta, Wyatt and Thornton left the group and were replaced  by four new members – but when Scherzinger left later in the year, the group was done.
