Brooklyn's Top 3 Favourite October Activities!

Like most of 2020, October and Hallowe'en look different.

Although a lot of events we usually love to go to with friends and family are cancelled this year (Stanley Park Ghost Train, VanDusen Glow in the Garden) there are still a few things you can do these last few weeks of spooky season!

1. Go to your local pumpkin patch!

The pumpkin patch I loved going to as a kid was Aldor Acres! It's just outside Fort Langley and you do have to book a spot in advance! Multiple pumpkin fields, cute stores and petting zoos! It truly feels like Hallowe'en Town (did anyone else love that movie?)!

2. Paint pumpkins with your roommates!

If you're like me, you aren't too handy with a knife. I usually get my boyfriend to carve the pumpkins and I'll stick to painting (with a glass of wine) while watching my fave Hallowe'en movies! Painting is obviously kid friendly, too! Here are some ideas below!

3. The Haunted Corn Maze at Maan Farms

Buy your tickets in advance, bring a mask and maaaaybe an extra pair of pants. I was lucky enough to get an early invite back in September and it is scary! Worth your money, fun rain or shine! One of the only spooky events happening in the Fraser Valley in 2020 and it is all outside!
