Online dating has been a thing for a while now, and now experts say the year 2037 will be the year more babies will be born to parents who met online rather than offline.

Researchers from eHarmony and the Imperial College Business School found that about 32 percent of relationships started between 2015 and 2019 began online, compared to 19 percent that began online between 2005 and 2014.

This is where the logic comes from that says by 2030 half of relationships in the U.K. will begin online. And since 35 percent of couples who met online already say they had a baby within a year of meeting, that’s why they say by 2037 more babies will come from couples who met online than from couples who met offline.
