22 year old Claire McDonnell is in a graduate science and finance program at the University of Iowa, she is 1 of 4 women in a class with 60 men. While zooming for class she decided to start filming when she became frustrated at constantly getting interrupted by the men in the class. She initially meant to send the video to the other women in the class but posted it to Tik Tok because she thought it was such a perfect example of "how often this happens to women in a male-dominated field,". Claire added, while chatting with Buzzfeed, "When I recorded that, it was just funny because I've worked in commercial underwriting for years, and [the assignment] was the same thing I did in that role, I have the most experience [out of] anyone." It received 2.4 million views almost immediately with most commenters supporting her;

"THIS HAPPENS WAY TOO OFTEN AND IT'S NOT OKAY!!!!!"

"This made my skin BOIL," said another. "The way I am seething with rage,"

"Literally keep talking. Do not stutter. Do not pause. Speak as if they aren't saying anything,"

"Keep talking until they realized they've interrupted you,"

It's pretty bad, check it out.
