Taylor Swift is getting her own exhibit at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England.
After conquering the UK with a leg of Eras Tour shows last month, a free exhibit titled Taylor Swift: Songbook Trail is set to run from July 27 until September 8.
The official V&A site describes the exhibit as an opportunity for fans to "embark on a winding journey through V&A South Kensington’s galleries to explore sixteen looks worn by the 14-time Grammy Award winning artist, Taylor Swift."
This trail looks to celebrate the "creativity of her costumes, lyrics and music videos" with each of the 13 stops on the trail showcasing "a chapter in the songbook of Taylor’s career and spotlight a particular era of her music and prolific songwriting."
Swift is donating costumes and accessories from her personal archive, ranging from the customized cowboy boots worn during 2007's Soul2Soul Tour to the jet-black ruffled shoulder dress from her music video for "Fortnight."
Along with the costumes will be various instruments, awards, storyboards and previously unseen archive exploring her childhood and recording legacy.
"We are delighted to be able to display a range of iconic looks worn by Taylor Swift at the V&A this summer, each celebrating a chapter in the artist’s musical journey," said Kate Bailey, Senior Curator, Theatre & Performance, in a statement. "Taylor Swift’s songs, like objects, tell stories, often drawing from art, history and literature. We hope this theatrical trail across the museum will inspire curious visitors to discover more about the performer, her creativity and V&A objects."
The exhibit lines up with her return to Wembley Stadium for five more shows starting August 15. More info can be found here.
