Adele had some throwback fun Saturday on Instagram and confirmed she is not releasing her new album anytime soon.
The singer had fans buzzing when she posted a photo showing her performing at the Glastonbury festival in 2016. When someone asked if she was teasing a new release, the 32-year-old singer replied: “Of course it’s not. Corona ain’t over. I’m quarantining. Wear a mask and be patient.”
Later in the day, Adele shared two photos – one of her squatting beside her TV in grey sweatpants and a white T-shirt and another in which she is modelling the Chloé dress she wore for her Glastonbury set four years ago. The caption read: “5 ciders in.”
In an interview published last week, Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins told Music Week her fourth studio album will be “ready when it’s ready.” It will be her first since 2015’s 25.
