All five songs nominated for an Oscar this year will be performed live on the show — but only one will be by a female artist.
Auli'i Cravalho will sing “How Far I'll Go” with songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Cravalho, 16, voiced the title character in Moana and sang a version of the song for the film. Canada’s Alessia Cara recorded another version for the soundtrack.

Emma Stone and Canadian actor Ryan Gosling won’t sing the nominated songs from their film La La Land — “City of Stars” and “Audition.” Instead, both will be performed by John Legend, who plays a jazz singer in the film.
Producers of the Academy Awards show said Sting will perform his nominated song “The Empty Chair” and Justin Timberlake will sing “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
The Oscars will air Feb. 26 on CTV.
