Is there going to be a baby Biebs? Not so fast.
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber and his wife of six months, Hailey, kept fans guessing on Monday – aka April Fools’ Day – that they are expecting a little one.
The 25-year-old singer posted a sonogram image on Instagram without a caption. Messages of congratulations started flooding in, including one from Bieber’s ex-bodyguard Kenny Hamilton.
Fans noted that the sonogram image, which Bieber found online, was taken in 2012 and shows a fetus at 12 weeks.
“Very funny,” Hailey commented.
But, Bieber followed up with another photo that showed Hailey touching her exposed belly in what appeared to be a doctor’s exam room.
“If U thought it was April fools,” Bieber captioned it.
Wait, was this proof that there is a real pregnancy? Not quite.
About an hour later, Bieber posted a sonogram image with a puppy Photoshopped onto it. “Wait omg is that a,,, APRIL FOOLS.”
On March 25, Bieber shared on Instagram that he was focused on his mental health issues “so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.”
But Hailey has said in several interviews that she doesn’t plan on getting pregnant anytime soon. She told Vogue the couple plans to wait “at least a couple of years.”
