Fans spent more than $300 million on tickets at Canada’s 10 biggest concert venues in the last year.
According to data compiled by Billboard Boxscore for the 12-month period ended Feb. 25, homegrown artists like Drake, Justin Bieber, Céline Dion and The Tragically Hip were among the biggest draws.
As iHeartRadio.ca reported last September, Dion's 15 concerts in Montreal and Quebec City last summer grossed more than $33 million.
Toronto’s Air Canada Centre was the top money-maker for live music, raking in $58.4 million in ticket sales thanks to concerts by Adele, The Hip and Bieber. Close behind was the Bell Centre in Montreal, which reported $57 million in sales. Its top shows were Dion, Adele and Drake.

The rest of the Top 5 consists of Hamilton’s FirstOntario Centre ($19 million), Quebec City’s Centre Videotron ($18 million) and London, Ont.’s Budweiser Gardens ($14 million).
Toronto’s Rogers Centre and Budweiser Stage reported concert ticket sales of $13 million and $11.4 million respectively.
Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, and SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon also made the Top 10.
