Cardi and Offset waited only a day to share the happy news about the birth but managed to keep their marriage a secret for months. In May, Cardi told Howard Stern she was planning for a spring 2019 wedding. “I am not having a wedding pregnant,” she explained. “I want to wear my dream dress and I want to get drunk on my wedding and I want to go on a honeymoon and I want to be drunk for a whole week."
But, in June she revealed that the two had tied the knot in Georgia last September.
The "Bodak Yellow" star revealed her baby bump on the April 7th episode of Saturday Night Live. "I'm finally free!," she exclaimed in a video posted to Instagram at the time. In May, Cardi revealed the gender of their baby.
