Cardi B said this week she’s loving being a mom to daughter Kulture – but still getting over what happened when the baby came into the world.
“She broke my vagina,” the rap star said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “Why nobody told you about those things? Nobody told me they were going to stitch my vagina.”
Cardi also lamented how fame has made it challenging for her to do “normal things” with her baby girl.
“I want to go to the beach with my baby. I want to take a stroll down the street with my baby. I can’t because I don’t know who’s next to me and who has certain intentions,” she explained. “I don’t want to show my baby out to the public right now. I want to protect her. I’m not mentally ready.”
But, Cardi added, motherhood is “the best.”
She said: “It’s like, ‘oh my gosh, I should have had you when I was a teenager.’ This is what I was missing my whole life?
“I do feel like I need a rest but the happiness that my baby brung me? I could do this over and over again.”
And Kulture, now 3 months, is a lot like mom.
“She’s very feisty,” said Cardi. “Oh snap, I already see it coming. She really is very demanding.”
