Cardi B scrapped a concert Tuesday night in Indianapolis with less than an hour before she was scheduled to take the stage.
“I was at the venue I was even rehearsing a new move I been excited to do on my show,” the rap star tweeted. “Unfortunately there was a security threat that is currently under investigation right now. My safety and your safety first.”
Promoter Mammoth Live said in a statement: “Due to a security threat and safety concerns at this evening’s show, management has advised that this show be postponed. These threats are currently under investigation.”

No details about the alleged threat to Cardi B were provided. The concert has been bumped to Sept. 11.
In a tweet, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said it was notified of “an unverified three to the artist.” It added: “There is no immediate threat to public safety, this [is] not an active incident. Ongoing investigation.”
