Cardi B has revealed she suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth last July to Kulture and admitted that she doesn’t breastfeed her baby.
“When I gave birth, the doctor told me about postpartum, and I was like, ‘Well, I’m doing good right now, I don’t think that’s going to happen.’ But out of nowhere, the world was heavy on my shoulders,” she said, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
Cardi said breastfeeding Kulture – which she was depicted doing in the “Money” video – was “too hard.”

She and Offset intially struggled about whether to let the public see their little girl. She shared a photo on Instagram in December.
“People were saying mean stuff, like that we don’t post her because she’s ugly,” said Cardi. “He was like, ‘I’m about to post my baby right now.’ But then we were very concerned because we were getting a lot of threats, so he said, ‘The world don’t even deserve to see her.’”
The rap star also opened up about splitting from Offset, who she said wanted them to get professional help. “I didn’t want to go to marriage counseling,” she recalled. “There’s no counselor or nothing that could make me change my mind.”
