Nowadays, it's rare that you meet a musician who doesn't have a tattoo, and Brett Young is certainly no exception.
The country newcomer is in the middle of having his entire left arm tatted up, but every bit of ink means something to him.
A couple weeks ago, Young shared a video on social media of him going under the needle, and now he's spilling the details of his newest ink addition.
"The one that I just got actually is a hummingbird, but it’s the design from the pick guard on the Gibson Humming Bird guitar," Young explained. "I had always played Taylor acoustic guitars, and when I moved to Nashville, I made the transition over to the quintessential country music Gibson acoustic guitar.
"And all these things to other people probably seem insignificant, but it’s not for anybody else it’s for me."

Young's left arm sleeve is all about his choice to move to Nashville. He plans on having California-themed tattoos from the elbow down and Music City-themed ink from the elbow up.
