Country music stars Eric Church, Maren Morris and the Brothers Osborne delivered one of several emotional performances during Sunday night’s Grammy Awards show.
The quartet covered Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” in tribute to the 58 people killed in an attack on the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas last October and the 22 people killed outside an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester last May.
“The painful truth is that this year in just those two events 81 music lovers, just like us, went out to enjoy a night of music and never came back home,” Morris said.

Church added: “All of country music was reminded in the most tragic way then connection we share with fans and the loving power that music will always provide.”
As they performed, the names of those killed appeared behind them.
Church, Morris and Brothers Osborne had all performed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
